Youth Program

The EYC/MYF Youth Program meets two  times a month from September through May.  The program provides our young adults an opportunity to develope and participate in a community of their peers dedicated to drawing closer to Jesus Christ.  Their activities include worship, scriptural reflection, community building, and fun.

Following is a calendar of events.  St. John’s and the First United Methodist Church are alternating as hosts for each event.  If you would like to participate or assist in a program that St. John’s is hosting, please contact Brenda Miller.

• Sunday, September 13 -Fall Kick Off: Fishing, Fun, and Fellowship - Porter Home, Blair, SC 4:0pm-8:00pm (FUMC Host)
• September 25 - 27 Ask a Pastor - St. John's Parish House 5:30pm - 8:00pm (St. John’s Host)
• Sunday, October 11 - Movie Night - The End of the Spear, Popcorn and Pizza, FUMC Youth House, 4:30pm - 7:00pm (FUMC Host)
• Sunday, October 25 - Background & Traditions of Halloween, Bonfire and Cook Out, Doty Farm, 5:30pm - 8:00pm (St. John’s Host)
• Sunday, November 8 - Fun and Games and Food
  FUMC Youth House, 5:00pm - 7:00pm (FUMC Host)
• Sunday, November 22 - Thanksgiving Community Outreach Program, Details to be announced, St. John's Parish House (St. John’s Host)
