Adult Bible Study

Sunday, 9:45am - 10:45am   Thursday, 6:30pm - 8:00pm

Beginning in September and continuing through May on each Sunday Morning 9:45 to 10:45 through Spring 2010, St John’s offers a program inviting Bible study of the four Gospels. 

Deacon Margaret Jennings Todd will lead the class.  The Bible Study will be structured around reading, discussing and learning about Jesus as revealed through the four Gospels. Emphasis will be placed on discovering "What the gospel means to me today." 

Each study stands on its own - if you were not able to participate in an earlier lesson you will still be fed.

Study Syllabus

 

Beginning Thursday, September 17, from 6:30pm – 8:00pm, and continuing on mostly each succeeding Thursday through the end of January 2010, St John’s offers a program inviting the study of Paul’s letter to the Romans. 

Fr. Jim Neuburger will lead the class.  In the study we will explore the apostle Paul’s view of Christianity as described in his letter to the Roman church.  We will read from N. T. Wright’s Paul for Everyone – Romans commentary and provide opportunity for group discussion.

Each study stands on its own - if you were not able to participate in an earlier lesson you will still be fed.

A meal and childcare will be provided.
